L.C. Tiffany was well known for taking inspirations for his designs from things found in nature. Our designers have beautifully recreated Tiffany''s love of nature in our Gilder Dragonfly Table Lamp. Large iridescent blue dragonflies are set vertically against a blistering background of crimson art glass. Each features smoldering red art glass gem ''eyes'' and gossamer wings created of finely detailed dark filigree against a white background. The top of the shade features matching blue leaves that are topped with a trio of horizontal blue borders. We added art glass gems and jewels in complementary colors for extra texture and a truly kaleidoscopic effect when the lamp is illuminated. The metal base, finished in rich Fieldstone is beautifully cast allover and features fleur d'' lis accents on the footed pedestal base.
